Caitlyn- Vermont Senior Portrait Photographer

Another lovely day resulted in even more beautiful photos!  I’ve been so lucky lately with the beautiful weather, though I’m still patiently waiting for that temperature drop so I can turn off our air conditioning in the house!  The lighting was perfect as was Caitlyn.  I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do and I love being able to capture Seniors that are excited to be entering their last year of high school and looking forward to their future.  I love listening to what they want to do with their life, and it brings me back to those times.  Caitlyn I’m sure, will be successful no matter what and I feel lucky being able to capture her…..as I do with all of the seniors that I have the honor of capturing!

I thought it was finally time to put together a little slideshow together to show how a full session typically goes with me….

I only book up to three sessions a week for two reasons: One- I like to leave a little space in case I need to reschedule because of bad weather and Two- I think that if I were to have a completely booked schedule, what I do would become more of a job than something I love doing. I like to think of what I do as a one of kind experience. You can go to photographers that have completely booked schedules, but did you get that one of kind experience? Were you allowed to be yourself without being charged extra to get that exact look that you’re after? I only have a few dates left in August before I’ll be booking into September. Because I only book a limited number of sessions, I have a quick editing turn around time (most times within 24 hours!) All photos that are placed in your proofing gallery are fully edited. I remember when I had my senior photos taken, I was worried about how they would turn out and I knew that I would be charged for any touchups. Part of me didn’t enjoy the experience because I didn’t enjoy the end result because of the blemishes I had on my face and I know I would have felt better if they were already gone when I first viewed my proofs. It’s because of this experience, that I fully edit all photos for no additional fee. You should LOVE your photos and if it takes me an extra minute per photo to make sure that you do, it’s worth it to me in the end! I love what I do because my clients allow me to be creative, allow me to photograph in new locations and allow me to be a part of their life, even if only for a brief moment in time!
