Somewhere along the way, she grew up. She was okay with it. I wasn’t. Lillian went into the 6th grade this past year and with that, a lot more responsibility. More homework, more expectations, more of everything. This girl is truly special though. She sticks up for what she believes in, never tells a lie and is wise beyond her years. She’s okay with being her own person and doesn’t look for the approval of others to determine her worth. She is the perfect mix of myself and her father with her own unique twist. In short, she’s pretty amazing and we’re lucky that she’s ours. We took these photos in Syracuse during Christmas break and since then, she’s probably grown another inch, had braces put on and her hair is a little longer (because “why did you let me cut my hair, mom……..it makes me look like a little girl……uggghhhh)!
Stop growing my sweet Lillian Grace, stop growing.
