Little Miss Trouble

I tell you, I heart this kid more than anything in the world!  She makes me laugh on a daily basis which I know in large part is do to my complete silliness.  I’m a big face and noise maker.  I’m all about trying to make my kid laugh.  It’s when she comes up to me for no apparent reason and asks me to turn my head so that she can give me a kiss that I know I’m doing a good job.  That being said, she’s a wild and crazy kid!  She still has way more energy than a person should and she plays like a boy even though she likes to dress like a little princess.  Today I had to take some photos of her for Valentines Day like I always do and this year we’ll be incorporating her photo into her actual Valentines that she’ll be passing out to her classmates that I’ll share later once I get them in (they’re going to be way too cute…..can’t wait!)  I usually take a photo of her with a heart shaped lollipop, but today I opted to use the lollipop as a bribe rather than using it for the photo.  It’s actually come to the point where I need to bribe her……”you can have the lollipop if you just let mommy take a few photos of you and mommy will be really quick!”  Each time she acted up I told her that I was going to give the cat the lollipop (the cat gets a lot of the blame in our household!)  In between her cheesy smiles she gives me this……

I personally love photos like these.  Not every photo has to have a huge smile in it even though that’s what she’s doing most of the time!  For me, this is the true essence of my daughter and why I love her oh so very much!

In other news, I’ll be heading home next weekend for my niece’s birthday party and I’ll be spending an extra day out there since my sister is off on Fridays.  So because of that I won’t be able to attend a benefit for Olivia that’s being held on the 13th.  I’ve donated a session and print credit valued at $300 for the silent auction so if you are in the area, please be sure to stop by and help this little girl and her family.  Click here for details.
