Montpelier

So me and Lillian were up in the Montpelier area a couple of days ago for business and since I’ve never been up there I thought that we would stop and check out our state’s capitol.  It was so cute!!!  I knew that Montpelier was small, but I wasn’t expecting it to be that small!  Anyways, we walked a few blocks and got an awesome hot dog from a street vendor.

In other news I’m having some issues with my cell phone at the moment, which also happens to be my business phone so if you’re trying to reach me just shoot me an email!  I’ve received a couple of calls on it and I can’t hear the message AND the number isn’t showing up in my caller ID……no good!!  Hopefully it’ll be resolved soon because there aren’t many options where we live and I think that Unicel is the only one with a tower here in town!

Anyways, here’s a photo of the state capitol…….more of an artistic shot but I love it nonetheless…..

Storyboards…..

I love making them and I love it when the UPS man drops them off! A storyboard is exactly what it sounds like, a board that tells a story!!! There are so many possibilities and I love that you can pick multiple images to convey a mood! All of this time that I’ve been ordering storyboards for my clients, I’ve never had one printed for myself. When I put the storyboard that I had posted previously together, I knew that I needed it up on our walls. I have a photo wall in our living room next to my computer. I spray painted a wire black and used some eye hooks to thread it through. Then I just picked up some clothes pins which I’ll use to hang my pictures with. This way I can have an ever changing picture wall. Take a peak….

Growing up

Shooting this senior session made me realize just how old I’m getting!!!  Has it really been 11 years which now seems like forever ago?!  Anyways, this was my first senior shoot of many more to come and let me just tell you, I loved every minute of it!  I think there’s something about shooting someone younger than you that gives you hope.  So many unrealized dreams that are about to come true and so many things that are unknown.  Anyways, that’s enough babble for now!  How about a few of my favorites?!

Me and Lillian headed to the state capital today so I’ll have to share a couple of photos of our visit.  I seriously think that Montpellier has got to be the tiniest state capital in the country…….but that’s why I love this state so much…….everything is so tiny, cute and friendly!!
